KTUR Start-up Talks (online)

Financing a start-up

Do you live in the Upper Rhine Region? Are you asking yourself what should be the next step in your career? Join our monthly KTUR Start-up Talk and explore how to turn your ideas into a start-up adventure. Founders will tell you about their different entrepreneurial journeys while international experts will guide you through cross-border support opportunities. Where and how to get money is probably the biggest question that all start-ups face. However, do we need money from the start? At what point does it make sense to start fundraising? Two founders give insights. Dr. Domitille Boudard holds a Phd in Neuroscience from the University of Strasbourg and has 10 years of experience in international research management. She is the co-founder of Bye Blues, a start-up specialised in the creation of night lights designed to preserve biological rhythms and sleep for new parents and their baby. With the development of these innovative lamps Dr. Boudard puts her expertise in chronobiology at the service of family health and well-being. Stephan Leuchsner has a B.A. in International Business and worked more than 10 years in the Construction Supplying Industry as an International Key Account Manager and Head of Sales for the Western European Countries. In 2018, he founded the start-up spontastic – the new marketplace for short-term available deals – to revolutionize the leisure industry. The event will be held in English.
